Active MLS listing inventory (this report is single family homes only) in the Ketchum, Sun Valley areas has dropped from the peak in August 2010 of 176 listings to 120 listings in January 2011.

New listings entered into the MLS has also dropped from a peak of 38 in June 2010 to 3 in January 2011

Sold and closed transactions for the past 12 months have ranged from a low of 0 closings in January 2011 to a high of 9 in September 2010

The various price points are based on averages for each specific month., i.e. total dollar amount of active listings divided by total number of listings equals average listing price, total dollar amount of combined sales divided by number of sales equal average sales price., etc.
